Samsung Galaxy S4 Cases Appear Online (Video)

The Samsung Galaxy S4 has yet to be officially announced, we are expecting a Samsung Unpacked event to unveil the Samsung Galaxy S4 on the 14th of March, but it would appear some accessory manufacturers have already started making cases for the Galaxy S4.

The videos below show a couple of Samsung Galaxy S4 cases, we have no idea if these are based on the actual design of the Samsung Galaxy S4 or whether they have been produced around the various rumors for the S4.

Samsung Galaxy S4

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is rumored to feature a 5 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, we are expecting two versions of the Galaxy S4, one for the US and one for Europe, each version will feature a different processor but the rest of the specifications will remain the same.

The European version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 is rumored to come with Samsung?s 8 core Octa 5 processor and the US version of the S4 is rumored to come with a quad core Samsung Exynos 5440 processor.

Other specifications that are rumored for the Galaxy S4 include a 13 megapixel camera on the back for photos and video and a 2 megapixel camera up front for video chat, the handset is also rumored to come with 2GB of RAM and a choice of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB of built in storage.

Whilst the specifications on the Samsung Galaxy S4 sound impressive, it is the new features for the device that may set it apart from the competition as it is rumored to come with some new Eye tracking technology.

Some patents have been discovered for new technology related to mobile devices called Eye Pause and Eye Scroll, as yet we don?t have many details about the technology although we can speculate how it would possibly work.

Eye Scroll could track your eyes whilst you were reading something on the device like a web page or a book, and then scroll down to the next part when you reach the end of the display where as Eye Pause could possibly be something to do with videos, if you were watching a video on your Samsung Galaxy S4 and moved your eyes away from the display the video could be paused.

Another new feature that is rumored to be introduced with the Samsung Galaxy S4 is new touchless gestures, for example if you want to answer a call on your smartphone at the moment you have to press the screen and then lift the device to your ear.

The way the touchless gestures could work would allow you to simply lift the Galaxy S4 to your ear and your incoming call would automatically be answered, of course these features have yet to be confirmed.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is rumored to come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, we are expecting the handset to launch worldwide in April, and we previously0 heard that it will launch in the US and Europe some time between the 15th and 22nd of April.
