It should come as no surprise that the popular reality television show The Apprentice is big hit among business students. Just as many of the contestants on The Apprentice are young, burgeoning business professionals, looking to successfully break out on their own, so too are business students on the eve of launching their careers in the private sector. And for as much as business school curriculum focuses on economics, business administration, marketing, and other related disciplines, perhaps the most critically important skills to be learned are teamwork and team building.

The event was intense enough for Hult?s business students to feel like they were really experiencing the same pressures of their favourite T.V. show, but fun enough that it was a great diversion from their typically challenging school work. They particularly loved the business-focused tasks, as well as the creativity of the event, and seeing how each of the teams came up with different concepts. In fact, they were so inspired by the team building event that a couple of the students asked if it was possible to apply for the T.V. show for the next season.
